The Real Girl Diaries: Episode 1

I have coffee, charm, and questionable impulse control. I am having it all, babe.

“Having It All?” Sweetie, I Can Barely Keep Track of My Socks.

You know those magazine covers or Pinterest quotes that shout “YOU CAN HAVE IT ALL!”?

Career. Love. Killer abs. A 3-step skincare routine that actually works. A dog that doesn’t eat your shoes. A fridge full of organic groceries instead of three jars of mustard and a lonely lemon.

Let’s be honest.

The idea of “having it all” sounds fabulous, like something I would yell while holding a coffee the size of my head. But if you asked me what it really means… meh. Je pense que ça ne veut rien dire. (Trying to be multilingual, bear with me.)

Because here’s the real tea, darling:

Even if you technically “have it all,” you’ll still wake up one morning wondering if you left the oven on, missed a deadline, or should’ve gone to Paris in 2017 when flights were cheaper. Why? Because we’re human. We don’t do perfect. We do overthinking at 2 a.m. and accidentally crying at dog videos.

💭 So, what does matter?

Peace.

Happiness.

Love.

Joy.

And a coffee that tastes like a hug in a mug.

Not necessarily “having it all” — but feeling like we’re okay, even when we don’t.

“Having it all” isn’t about ticking off boxes. It’s about learning to dance with the mess, laugh at the chaos, and still find a reason to smile at the mirror — even with toothpaste on your shirt.

Let’s rebrand “having it all,” shall we?

It’s not about being perfect.

It’s about being present.

Living fully. Laughing loudly. Loving deeply. Eating that second slice of cake because your heart says yes even if your jeans say no.

And when life throws glitter and drama your way (as it always does), you channel your inner you (or me) and say:

“I have coffee, charm, and questionable impulse control. I am having it all, babe.”

So next time someone asks:

“Don’t you want to have it all?”

Smile, sip your coffee, and say:

“I don’t need it all. I’ve got enough to dance in the rain and laugh on Tuesdays. That’s plenty.”

Stay tuned for more confessions, giggles, and real girl truths.
