I’m not sure if I’ll make it to a hundred, but even if I don’t, I’m going to say it anyway.

You’ve lived a life full of experiences, and you’ve had some amazing friendships, even though some ended when you were 26. That one was really tough because he was your confidant—the one you could always turn to when you felt overwhelmed. He understood you completely, sharing your intelligence and deep emotions. He guided you through everything, and you walked it through together. You made each other happy, proud, and sometimes angry, but that didn’t change the fact that you were friends for life. I’m praying that you’ll be together in eternal happiness..

I hope you’ve found someone as wonderful as him in the coming years. Since I’m still 26, I don’t know, but everyone needs a friend like him. He pushed you, encouraged you, and told you things that boosted your confidence. You have other really good friends, but I hope you found someone just like him. Maybe not exactly the same, but I hope you found someone very similar. And when you found him/her, you never ever get tired of answering his calls. Because you did when you were younger. And you miss his voice, his laugh, his advice, and his words. But life is short, and this life is not real. It’s just an illusion of the real one. And I hope you’ll find him in the other. And I hope the Creator of everything will help you find yourselves together. I miss you, my friend. It’s been a week since, but it feels like a lifetime. I don’t feel like I’m living, but I’ll have the strength to hold on because you always said you were proud of me and how I’m doing in my life. That’s why I hope I’ll find the strength to live for both of us. I pray you’re happy and in peace.

So, my hundred-year-old self, I’m telling you. The only thing that truly matters in life, as I’ve come to realize fully now, is love. Everything revolves around love, and it flows from love and returns to love. I hope you’ve always acted out of love and kindness.
